Welcome to MOSAIC, and to our new look website. MOSAIC is about creating a place for all members of our community to have easy access to services, information, conferences, special projects, and just for fun.
More importantly we want MOSAIC to be an enjoyable experience whatever the reason of your visit.
MOSAIC stands for Mayo Organisation for a Sustainable and Integrated Community.
The Initiative dates back to mid 2004 when a number of local agencies and service providers in the community and disability sectors begun to explore opportunities to integrate their services under one roof. This concept has led to the evolution of a MOSAIC Mantra - one centre… lots of service, which encapsulates the very ethos of MOSAIC. A major theme of the project was, and is, to use the opportunity presented by a new centre to mainstream services to particular user groups by drawing the community at large into the centre for a variety of needs and purposes from service access, information, cultural pursuits and community events.
MOSAIC seeks to transform the way services are accessed and delivered while at the same time providing a quality and exciting community space for the community to shape according to its changing needs.
